New Orleans Saints 17 (9-2) @ Atlanta Falcons 13 (2-9)
A tough NFC South clash at the Georgia Dome with the Saints emerging victorious and ensuring the Falcons will suffer their first losing season since 2007. New Orleans has won four of its last five matches and now enjoys a two-game lead over the Carolina Panthers at the top of the division.Star Man: Jimmy Graham (New Orleans Saints). The big tight end caught five passes for 100 yards and scored a touchdown.
New York Jets (5-5) @ Baltimore Ravens (4-6)
The Jets record reads as follows: WLWLWLWLWL. If they keep up that trend, it spells bad news for Baltimore. New York is coming off a thrashing at the hands of the Buffalo Bills but will continue with Geno Smith at quarterback. He was pulled from that game with Matt Simms coming in. The Ravens have lost four of their last five games but have been boosted with tight end Dennis Pitta's return to the practice field.Paterson's Pick: Ravens.
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-6) @ Cleveland Browns (4-6)
The loser of this AFC North clash can probably forget about making a late run for the play-offs so plenty at stake in Ohio this Sunday. Pittsburgh has won in four of its previous six outings and veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has reacted to trade rumours by throwing five touchdown passes in the last two games. Cleveland has won just two of the last 10 meetings between the teams.Paterson's Pick: Steelers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-8) @ Detroit Lions (6-4)
Tampa Bay heads to Ford Field in confident mood after back-to-back victories. Running back Bobby Rainey and wide receiver Vincent Jackson will be heavily involved on offense after big performances in the 41-28 crushing of Atlanta but safety Dashon Goldson has to serve a one-game suspension. Detroit hopes to have running back Joique Bell (achilles) and defensive end Ziggy Ansah (ankle) available to play.Paterson's Pick: Lions.
